I will facilitate a circle process which will encourage participants to share stories discovering who matters to them and to whom they matter. The circle process is very structured with a beginning and ending. It is modeled after processes used by native cultures. In the short session, participants will get a taste of the restorative nature of sharing stories of self in a circle. Participants will leave the circle with new connections and ideas for applying circles to family meetings and other communities.

She is too young to be a minister. He is too old to lead worship. What is the magical median age of church leadership? What is our hangup with age and generations in our culture? Join us for an honest conversation about the relationship between age and leadership in the church. We will look at scripture and history, with a time to share our own stories. The goal will be to leave with tangible ways we can continue to lead in the church, no matter our age, and to support others doing the same. Whether you have been told you are too young or too old, this is a conversation for you.
