Most of the time, I teach middle and high schoolers the wonders of US history, government, and economics at a fine arts charter school. Teaching, for me, has always been about the relationships with my students. Creative students inspire me to keep learning and growing. I am a trained Restorative Discipline Coordinator by the Institute of Restorative Justice and Restorative Dialogue. I use restorative practices such as circles to build classroom community, solve problems, and facilitate learning through relationships. In my downtime I travel with friends and family, especially my son.
