Susan Katz Miller

Susan Katz Miller is a journalist, author, and interfaith families thought leader and coach. She has presented her interfaith family story on the Today Show, on NPR, in The New York Times, and across the country in keynote lectures, university talks, and in houses of worship. A former Newsweek reporter, her work is based on surveys and interviews with hundreds of interfaith families. Her first book, Being Both: Embracing Two Religions in One Interfaith Family (Beacon Press 2013), describes the growing grassroots national movement of interfaith families insisting on celebrating more than one family religion. Her new book, The Interfaith Family Journal (Skinner House 2019), provides interactive exercises and creative activities to help interfaith couples and families discern the pathway that is right for them. Miller, who grew up in an interfaith family and then raised two interfaith children, is also founder of the Network of Interfaith Family Groups. on facebook.
