Lauren Levwood is a mother, dancer, writer, doula, women’s health massage therapist, kitchen-witch, tree-hugger, and Unitarian Universalist seminarian at Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, CA. Lauren’s primary dance influences are Authentic Movement, Improvisation, Contact Improvisation, Transdance, Wildance, and 7Directions Sacred Dance. She is thrilled to unveil her new movement ministry, “Soma Spiritus,” at Wild Goose 2019! Lauren currently lives near a tiny marsh in Tallahassee, FL, and spends her days communing with a Great White Heron, a Great Blue Heron, and a gaggle of wild geese. Joining Lauren at the Goose this summer is her spouse, William and their six-year-old daughter, Haya.
