Tara Seabrook is a womanist speaker, blogger, creative artist, public theologian, and resilience coach, as well as the founder of Blissful Authenticity, which seeks to reimagine justice as equity, reframe spirituality as praxis, and refashion growth with compassion. Through storytelling, spoken word, movement, coaching, and other healing modalities, she seeks to disrupt false narratives and restore dignity to those traumatized at the intersections of racism, classism, and sexism. Currently, she is writing a book based on her seminal poem, “I Am She: The Anthology”—which she has presented as spoken word poetry in a variety of settings. Tara holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theological Studies from Wesley Theological Seminary. She is also a certified Heartmath Resilience Coach and a licensed Final Expense Specialist.
