I am the Director of Social Work at Milligan College in Eastern Tennessee. I have a masters in social work and a masters in international community development. I am devoted to researching and creating healing spaces for people in need. This has led me to the field of nature therapy, healing gardens, and care farms. I am dedicated to restoring relationships between people and the land – bridging social and environmental justice – to foster healing on both sides. I have worked in this field, in various capacities, in the US, the Philippines, and the UK.
