Michael Camp

Author of Craft Brewed Jesus (2016) and Confessions of a Bible Thumper (2012), Michael Camp is a former conservative evangelical and amateur historian. He spent 25 years in the evangelical movement, as a missionary to Muslims, an aid worker in Africa, and a leader in independent, charismatic, and Baptist churches before experiencing a huge faith shift. Today, he addresses secular and faith-based audiences and facilitates empowerment projects for the poor in Africa and Asia thru his local Rotary Club, building off positions with Food for the Hungry, World Concern, and World Vision. He lives in Seattle, WA with his my wife Lori. Michael is on the board of the Christian Universalist Association (CUA) and has written for or spoken at Darkwood Brew, Wild Goose Festival, Homebrewed Christianity, Pub Theology Live, The Place, CUA, and Provoketive Magazine. He hosts his own podcast called The Spiritual Brewpub, where he interviews fellow faith shifters.
