Jon-Phil Winter is originally from East London and has served as an Officer in The Salvation Army for 12 years holding the rank of Captain. He has served in various States as well as the UK primarily working with people struggling with homelessness and food poverty. He is also an openly gay man serving in a non-affirming Christian denomination. His passion for the gospel and it’s power to transform lives is demonstrated through his desire to see it framed in ways that can be accessible to all people from all backgrounds. “We should not allow language and culture, either ancient or modern, to obscure the wonderful revelation of the divine through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” Currently Jon-Phil lives and serves in the community of Jacksonville, NC.
