Ingrid Schmidt

Ingrid has been an enthusiastic goose in this wild community every year since our festivals started (what? has it been 9 years already?) She is active in her home church, United Church of Chapel Hill, and finds deep spiritual connection and inspiration listening to the stories and insights of her fellow seekers and doers. This has been especially true for her while facilitating “Sacred Conversations on Race” in her congregation for the past 11 years. The ongoing learning is both an important struggle and a joy. At this year’s Goose Ingrid will be facilitating conversations that are sure to include more new insights (yours!), and the joy of connecting with and supporting each other. In case you’re curious, her “day job” is in international programs at a university, her adult son and daughter are amazing human beings, her kayak is blue, and her dog will love you unconditionally but unfortunately this fact does not make you special.
